⊙ 내게 너무 멋진 서쪽나라 (Occident)
세상에 살다 살다 야밤에 중간부터 보기 시작한
전체 줄거리도 잘 안잡히는 듣도 보도 못한 루마니아 영화 하나 때문에 이렇게 기분좋게 웃을지는 몰랐다.
맨유 경기 보다 잠깐 채널 돌리다, 그만 고정시키고 말았는데.
축구팬으로서는 완전 10회 경기 관람 금지에 팬자격 상실감인 대역죄지... 덕분에 퍼디난드 골은 못 보고.
이건 거의 '퍼펙트 크라임' 수준의 발견인데,
다만 첨부터 못 본게 무진장 아쉽다.
해서, 영화가 담고 있다는 동구 국가의 열악한 사회적 메시지는 잘 안들어오고
그냥 무개념으로 내내 배꼽만 잡았는데, 그것만으로도 충분했던 영화.
웃음에도 여러 종류가 있을텐데, 참으로 아무 사심없는 순수한 웃음을 짓게 한 영화다.
거의 영화도 못 보지만 가뭄에 콩나듯이 챙겼던 킹콩이고 너는 내 운명이고
실은 기본 대개 시큰둥 했고, 머리가 확 깨는 느낌 없었는데
비디오 나오면 꼭 다시 봐야지, 불끈 하게 되는 이런 영화는 실로 오랜만.
돈도 안 들이고, 아는 배우라곤 항개두 안 나오지만
단 한 장면만 봐도 삘이 지대로 꽂혀 주시는 이 감각의 클릭이야말로 참 기분좋은 코드 공유다.
역시 돈 들인다고 좋은 영화가 만들어지는 거이 아닌 거라는 것을
이런 탤런트들은 보여준다.
"루마니아 하면 코마네치와 드라큘라 밖에는 몰라. 다들 루마니아가 그것밖에 없는 나라라고 생각하겠지."
"망을 보고 있다가 이상한 낌새가 있으면 신호를 보내라고 했지!!"
"아까 손짓으로 ~이 왔다고 손짓으로 신호를 보냈는데요"

다시 생각해도 그 시츄에이숀들, 참 기가 막히다.
